Marisa’s and Morgan’s wedding was authentic, simple, beautiful.
I’ve shared a bit about them before (you can see their engagement session here)… and what an honor it was to be there to witness and collect memories for them on their wedding day. It was a gorgeous and miraculously warm day this past March. In Colorado, you never know what type of weather you’re going to get – especially in early Spring – and Marisa really wanted a simple ceremony outside under the tree. Thankfully, she got it!
The ceremony and reception were held at a beautiful family-owned homestead in Black Forest, Colorado. It was the perfect setting for their intimate wedding. Closest family and friends gathered under the old pine while Marisa and Morgan promised to love one another for the rest of their lives on earth.
The reception following was in the rustic barn. Home-made signs, decorated rocks, succulents and and pretty wildflowers lines the tables. The amazing food was provided by one of Morgan’s favorites, a local Nepalese restaurant. Good music, good food, good company.
“You only need one man to love you. But him to love you free like a wildfire, crazy like the moon, always like tomorrow, sudden like an inhale and overcoming like the tides. Only one man and all of this.”

Marisa and Morgan, may you have a beautiful grace-filled life together as you serve God and one another in love. Excited to see where you go!
