My dear friend of over 15 years, Marissa, got married to her love last month in beautiful Sonoma County. It was not just a wedding – but a festival weekend – with so many friends and loved ones, food and drink, gorgeous scenery, and lots of dancing. I got to photograph the weekend alongside of Jami, and loved documenting the beauty and love. For this post, I’m just sharing the wedding day festivities. It was such an honor to be there. Thank you, Goki and Marissa!
After getting ready at the Guerneville Lodge, we drove along the breath-taking coast of California and came around the bend to see hundreds of tiny people waiting on the cliff of Grill Way Overlook for the bride to arrive and the ceremony to begin. I could have cried at the sight (and I think maybe I did).
Another beautiful moment – Marissa and her dad dancing down the aisle.
After the epic cliffside ceremony, guests returned to the lodge and enjoyed fresh oysters, amazing apps, and drinks while Marissa and Goki canoed into the dock at the Guerneville Lodge…
Grapevine Catering provided the delicious meal and service, and a friend of the couple, Fontaine, provided the gorgeous florals.
I’m so grateful I got to be here for this beautiful celebration. Thank you, friends ❤ And may you live
And here’s a photo of Marissa and me that I had to throw in here 🙂 Love you, Marissa!!
